Milpitas MUNC I

A Word From The Secretary Generals

Hello everyone!

My name is Vera, and I am so excited to be your Co-Secretary General for MMUNCI. I joined Model UN during my freshman year, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my high school career. Through Model UN, I have developed my public speaking, leadership, and problem-solving skills while meeting incredible people from around the world. One of my favorite things about Model UN is how every conference presents a new challenge. Whether it is researching an unfamiliar topic, collaborating with delegates from different schools, or finding creative solutions to complex problems, there is always something new to learn. Beyond the resolutions and awards, the friendships and memories made at conferences are what makes Model UN truly special. I look forward to seeing your creative ideas in September!

Hi delegates!

My name is Ethan, and I am thrilled to serve as your Co-Secretary General for Milpitas MUN's first ever conference. Bringing this conference to life has been an exciting journey for our team, and it is incredibly wonderful to know that delegates from different schools will soon come together to share ideas, engage in thoughtful debate, and contribute to an event that we hope will become a lasting tradition. What excites me most about Model UN is its ability to create conversations that challenge assumptions and encourage people to see issues from new perspectives. As you step into committee, I encourage you to take risks, trust your voice, and make the most of every moment. Whether you're delivering a speech, negotiating with fellow delegates, or simply meeting new people between sessions, I hope you find something meaningful in the experience. Thank you for being part of this special milestone for Milpitas MUN, and we all can't wait to welcome you this September.

As our school's first Model United Nations conference, our goal is to introduce new delegates to the concept of MUN in a supportive environment. Whether you are attending your very first committee or looking to build confidence in debate, this conference offers the perfect opportunity to develop essential skills, learn, practice public speaking, and collaborate with fellow delegates. By participating, delegates will gain valuable experiences and be well prepared for future conferences. We hope this conference inspires a lasting interest in Model UN and provides a strong foundation for every delegate's MUN journey.
